Together we will ensure we have a future

We need to expand/support our caregivers because they provide essential care for families and communities, often working long hours for low pay. They deserve fair wages, benefits, and respect for the critical work they do, which keeps our communities healthy, safe, and strong.
Under my leadership, I will invest in our caregivers who are actively working helping HD23 Constituents.

Invest in safer, accessible transportation so everyone can get where they need to go safely and reliably.
Increase Funding: Allocate more state and local resources to upgrade infrastructure and expand transit services.
Prioritize Safety: Improve road safety through better lighting, crosswalks, bike lanes, and traffic calming in high-risk areas.
Expand Accessibility: Ensure public transit and sidewalks accommodate people with disabilities, seniors, and underserved communities.
Community Input: Engage residents to identify areas with the greatest need and tailor solutions locally.

A more prepared and resilient Colorado, with everyday residents empowered to respond in emergencies and save lives.
Increase Access: Offer state-funded or subsidized training across communities, including rural and underserved areas.

I will commit to listening to constituents and addressing their needs with integrity and transparency.
I will always have a conversation with the people. Too often we see our elected officials shy away from tough questions. I never want to make others feel that they are not being heard. If I don't know the answer, I will ensure that I do everything I can to help.I will address and hold other elected leaders accountable.
Too often our elected officials do not notice many of the constituent's drowning, as a leader, I will not only advocate but I will do everything I can to help you rise. No one should be left behind.

I will ensure that decisions are made with input from the community, prioritizing the needs and ideas of those directly impacted.
I will invest in local leadership and empower residents to take action in solving community challenges.
I will work to ensure that all communities have a voice in shaping policies that affect them.
I will create opportunities for the community to serve on advisory boards, and internships.
I will host town halls and community gatherings in person and through remote options. If elected, I work for the people and will do everything I can to put the people first.

For too long, people are not heard, seen or valued. Enough is enough. I have and will continue to protect all groups of people. From our LGBTQIA+, Veterans, Marginalized Communities to our everyday people who are working paycheck to paycheck, I will fight for you.
Acknowledging our past, present and future is something that I will always do. We all come from different backgrounds that are rich with stories that make us who we are. I will commit to ensuring that all parts of our community are heard, seen and valued. The people deserve to be heard and seen.

I understand what it feels like when home doesn’t feel secure. Too many people live with the stress of making rent, wondering if they’ll ever be able to own a home, or simply hoping for peace behind their front door. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, stable, and dignified place to live. That’s why I will fight for affordable housing, for survivors of domestic violence, and for the voices too often ignored or silenced.

I will focus on solutions to the affordable housing crisis and promote sustainable development.
I will advocate that every Coloradan has access to safe and affordable housing.
I will advocate for pathways to economic justice by addressing income inequality and creating good-paying jobs.

I will advocate for universal access to affordable healthcare and mental health services.
I will advocate to expand healthcare access for marginalized communities.
I will push for policy changes to make healthcare more affordable for all.

I will advocate for criminal justice reform, focusing on rehabilitation, restorative justice, and fair treatment for all individuals.
I will support mental health services for individuals in the criminal justice system and reduce incarceration rates.

I will advocate for our community spaces and recreational areas. Every single person deserves equitable access to spaces where they can recreate and better their life. As someone who has worked in parks & recreation my whole life, I know how important and impactful these places are. As one of the few Latinos in these work spaces, I know how important it is that everyone feels welcome.

I will advocate for policies that drive long-term growth and inclusivity.
I will promote solutions that ensure economic and social mobility for all.
I will champion the path forward with a focus on unity and collective success.

I will work to ensure that public services from emergency response to transportation are accessible, reliable, and equitable for all. Everyone deserves safe, affordable, and timely services, no matter their background or where they live.
